Hematology & Oncology Specialists, LLC formed in January 1997 with the vision to create a compassionate, clinically effective, and cost efficient cancer care program that offers high quality physician services, geographically distributed to meet the ever expanding needs of cancer patients in the age of managed care.

Our practice has grown to be the largest community based oncology practice in southeast Louisiana. Chemotherapy is provided in three community based infusion centers; all of our nurses are certified oncology nurses. We have eight consultation offices throughout the Greater New Orleans area, including the Northshore.

In addition to hematology and oncology, we have physicians specializing in bone marrow transplant and gynecologic oncology. Our physicians utilize their diverse backgrounds to coordinate the latest technologies and treatments available to provide patients with the best opportunity for recovery and quality of life.
